FIFA Best Young Player award is awarded to the most elegant player who is at most 21 years old in the World Cup tournament. The Best Young Player award was started in 2006 in which fans could elect their favorite player on Internet on the official website of FIFA.

Recently FIFA organized a survey to elect the Best Young Player of the World Cup tournament organized between 1958 and 2002. The stunning player of the olden days Pele (Brazil) received the highest number of votes (61%) defeating Teófilo Cubillas of Peru and Michael Owen of England.
