The
20th FIFA World Cup 2014 scheduled to be organized in Brazil is the
mega sports event of the year. It commence from Thursday, June 12,
2014 and the finals will be played on Sunday, July 13, 2014. Brazil
had already hosted the mesmerizing event in 1950, in which Uruguay
emerged as the winner.
A total of 64 matches will be played in twelve cities across Brazil in the 20th edition of the FIFA World Cup. FIFA is going to use Goal-Line technology in for the first time in the finals of the World Cup. Spain is the defending champion. Lets see if they can retain the world cup.
Each of the 32 participants will receive US$1.5 million as preparation costs.
