FIFA World Cup 2014 - Awards - Golden Ball

Since 1982, the Golden Ball is awarded to best player of the tournament. Top 10 performers of the competition will be shortlisted by FIFA after the semi-finals on July 8^th and 9^th. The winner of the Golden Ball award will be selected by the Members of the media and the Technical Study Group of FIFA before the end of the finals on July 13^th.

In FIFA World Cup 2014 Addidas Silver Ball will be awarded to the second best player while the third best player of the tournament will receive the Addidas Bronze Ball.
